As a native to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Stacey Cerven was raised in Woodinville along with her younger brother and sister. After graduating from Woodinville High School in 1997 she moved across country to Delaware where she earned her BS degree in Biotechnology at the University of Delaware in 2001. During the summers of her undergraduate school years, she worked with Dr. Karr, her father, as his dental assistant and scheduler.
Dr. Cerven attended dental school at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and graduated with honors where she received her D.M.D. degree in 2007. The University of Nevada Las Vegas School awards the D.M.D. degree which signifies that dentistry is a specialty of medicine; something Dr. Cerven makes a priority. “I am concerned about the entire health of my patients.” She strives to achieve optimal oral health for her patients while restoring beautiful smiles. Dr. Cerven offers a wide range of comprehensive care with emphasis on cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Cerven has traveled with her father to Haiti numerous times to provide dental care for the Haitian people. “The Haitian people are truly amazing with powerful hearts! I plan to continue my trips to Haiti and other third world countries to provide health care.” She plans to coordinate future trips to Haiti to include students from dental schools around the country.
Dr. Cerven currently practices dentistry with her father in Granite Falls, Washington, a community where she feels right at home. “I am excited to be working with my father again and to see familiar faces from when I was his assistant.” Dr. Cerven lives in Lake Stevens with her husband, Martin, and their two feline “sons”, Kujo and Bear. She and her husband enjoy hiking, biking, traveling, and spending time with her parents, brother, and sister.
